Trace one specific moment when the story your body tells you began — a sentence, a look, a memory. The reframe at the heart of the course: it's a story, not a fact. Two people with the same body can live very different stories.

You don't have to love your body to feel at ease in it. Six gentle solo sessions on body neutrality.
You've been told to "love your body." Maybe you've tried. Maybe the affirmations sit on top of the actual feeling like a thin layer of paint over rust. Maybe the loud days still come — the lights off, the covers up, the certain positions, the not-letting-yourself-be-seen. The advice didn't take.
This course doesn't ask you to love your body. It asks you to live in it — which is a different, more honest project. Body Confidence is a six-session solo course built around body neutrality: the practice of being able to stay present in your body, especially when it matters most, without needing to first feel beautiful. The course traces where the body-story came from, not as therapy but as inheritance — a sentence at eleven, a look from a relative, a culture's shifting standard. It then teaches you to notice the old messages without letting them run the moment.
A note on what this course is not: if you have an active or historical eating disorder, body dysmorphia, or gender dysphoria, please bring that to a specialized clinician. Body-image work in those contexts asks for care this course can't give. NEDA Helpline (1-800-931-2237) is a starting point if you're not sure. The course works alongside that care; it doesn't replace it.
This is a solo course by design. Your reflections stay yours. Nothing is shared with a partner unless you choose to share it. The work is private — and that privacy is part of how it works.
Six honest steps — body neutrality, not pop-positivity.
The quiet messages your body has been carrying — finally said out loud, in plain words.
Where body shame actually comes from (and where it doesn't).
How shame shows up during intimacy, even when you don't feel it at first.
How to notice old messages without letting them run the moment.
How body ease becomes a small daily practice, not a mood you wait for.
What it feels like to stay in your body when you're being seen.
Six sessions, about 7 minutes each.
Self-paced and fully private. Solo by design — your reflections are yours, shared with a partner only if and when you choose. If anything brings up too much, please reach out to a qualified clinician.
Body-image research consistently finds that how someone feels about their body during sex is more closely tied to pleasure, arousal, and orgasm than how their body objectively looks. Body neutrality — focused on body function and presence rather than appearance — is associated with better mental-health and intimate-life outcomes than appearance-focused body positivity alone.
